Old Reviews

Wild Bill was excellent, the best entertainer we have ever had at our care home. He was diverse, kept everyone involved, fun, professional, brilliant value for money and all the service users loved him! Would definitely recommend, and will definitely be booking him again! Thanks so much! :)

Dear Bill,

Thank you for sending this poem to us, we really enjoyed reading it! It is great to hear about people spreading awareness of the signs and symptoms of breast cancer in their own lives, you are right that early diagnosis is crucial in the fight against breast cancer.

Thank you for taking the time to send this to us.

All the best,

Josephine (on behalf of the rest of Breast Cancer Campaign)

Hi Bill,

Thank you very much for entertaining us at our annual Ken Graham Senior Citizens Party on 21st September 2013.

The feedback from our guests as they left the college was excellent, particularly from the ladies who were very impressed with some of your line dance moves when you were doing your demonstrations. Since the party, I have received a phone call from the spokesperson for the group of 15 or so guests who came from Bishops Itchington; they declared the entertainment as the "best ever" at our parties. They thought the whole programme was brilliant and are already asking if we can have you all back next year.

I have attached a photo of the event which you may be able to use on your website.

At this point in time, I am assuming the party will be in our 2014 calendar, so I am sure we will be contacting you again next year.

Best Regards,

Hi Bill,

Just dropping you some feedback regarding the entertainment you provided at Gilbert Court, Bromsgrove yesterday.

Having spoken to the many residents that attended the overall thoughts were very positive. The music was enjoyable and foot-tapping and the opportunities to sing-a-long were also very much welcomed. The chance to try out a little simple line dancing steps for the more ambulant encouraged, those that could do so, to take to the floor.

Your hand movement alternative routines were very well received by those who could not stand as they could be done from the chairs. Overall a happy, fun time interspaced with good music and quite superb demonstrations of your more advanced line dancing steps which were thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Thank you.
Kind Regards
Robert

Hi Bill

It was lovely to see you this morning.

The Residents enjoyed learning how to hand line dance and I am sure we will all get better with practice (and hopefully fitter in my case).

It was very good how you recited your poems, in between dances which gave us a rest but kept us entertained. We enjoyed watching you demonstrate how to line dance properly, wishing we could move as well.

Our Residents always enjoy a good sing along to the old tunes that they know so well.

A good all round hour with plenty of variety to keep us entertained whilst giving us some exercise.

We look forward to your next visit.

Hi Bill,

I would just to like to thank you for donating four tickets for Warwick Castle which raised £20 in the raffle at Wayside House, Coventry. Also, for donating your Ant and Dec shirt which was signed and put on eBay which raised another £16.50. The money raised will go towards my daughter Misha's Gambia Expedition in 2014. She has been tasked to raise £2,000 for this project and some of the funds will go to the community project in Gambia.

Also thank you very kindly for offering to do some line dancing at the Ambleside Cricket Club at the fundraiser night in April 2013. I cannot thank you enough for your generosity, time and commitment to this project.

Keep up the great work Bill and making a difference to so many lives.
You are a star!

Bill...You're a star - thank you so much for your dance scripts for people who cannot stand

I've already sowed the seeds with another local activities lady and when I get back into work tomorrow I'll be talking to my boss and, with his permission, I'll contact our homes in Bristol and Chippenham.

Will be in touch as soon as something can be worked out!

Hi Bill,

Our residents loved your show and were still talking about you the next day.

I think you could see by the resident's expressions that they were having a wonderful afternoon on 31st December.

Thank you and hope to see you again one day.

Dear Bill,

Everyone present thought your performance was excellent, especially the accompanying music. Should a vacancy occur in our programme during 2013 we could contact you for a repeat.

I thank you for coming to assist us this time.

Hi Bill,

Thank you so much for a brilliant evening with Kenilworth Phab on Wednesday 19th September.

Everyone said they had enjoyed themselves - and you could tell that by their faces!

Of course, our more active members enjoyed being up and dancing, but everyone was keen to join in, however, they could.

I was particularly impressed by how you modified the dances when you realised that many people were unable to stand for a prolonged length of time, to ensure that everyone could participate from where they were sitting.

A comment that says it all - "That Wild Bill bloke was really GREAT, I like him, we had such a good time!"

Thank you very much for making it a memorable evening

Best Wishes
Gwen

Dear Bill,

Just a note to thank you very much for coming to entertain our residents - and staff - when you "strutted your stuff".

The residents as you heard have asked when you are coming back. I am sure you could see for yourself how everyone joined in - even our 104-year-old.

You obviously have a great feel for the older generation who find themselves having to give up their homes.

An entertainer like you is very hard to find - we are glad to have found you!!

Your poems were great and a lot of elderly people often talk about "God" and you could hear how they enjoyed them. You must send me a copy - please!

I look forward to seeing you again - even though I don't work Saturdays I might just pop in to see you again - maybe learn some new moves.

Kind regards,
Margaret
