In 2005 the President of Israel Shimon Peres wrote a poem called Ray of Hope. He donated his poem to a charity organization called songweavers.
The songweavers translated the song into many different languages and invited composers from all over the world, to create a piece of music that would fit his poem in order to produce CD's to sell with all funds going to the children's Hope Hospital and the World Peace Centre.
From 54 countries and over 100 composers, I was the first composer to create a Viennese Waltz. After his death, all CD's were removed from their site.
